AB Group was founded in 2010 as a team of talented and passionate engineers, specialising in key aspects of the retail and commercial built environment, notably refrigeration and HVAC. Our ambition was to ‘better the norm’ with every solution we delivered.
Our clients appreciated the way we took account of environmental and financial impacts in all our work, embracing innovation and creativity to find efficient, high-performing yet simple solutions.
Our experience of working as a specialist subcontractor on commercial construction projects inevitably led us to bring our eye for process simplification and streamlining to bear on the construction process itself. We could see a huge potential to accelerate construction projects, reduce waste and increase value from consolidation of management, and ultimately deliver better result by bringing all the specialist contractor skills under the same ownership as the main contractor.
Thus AB Group became a main contractor, still with the specialist capabilities in-house but now applying our creativity and innovation throughout the supply chain.

My broad knowledge of the Built environment, and excellent leadership skills gained throughout a 30 year career, culminated in 2010 when I formed a business partnership with James Espin. AB Group was founded with a vision to change the ways of an industry. A decade has passed and we continue to strive to better the norm.
My passion and drive for excellence over an 18 year career within the built environment lead to the formation of AB Group. Founded in 2010 AB Group represents the vision Neil Bromley and myself set out to achieve, to create a business that is built on the core values of excellence and simply to do better and be better.
