How we

Support People

People we support are at the centre of all we do.

We run a Wellbeing Hub based in Surbiton for adults who live locally and face issues to their mental wellbeing, some of whom also have learning disabilities.  We provide a welcoming and non-judgemental environment, offering support and a range of activities designed to help people we support to manage their health and wellbeing, learn new skills, achieve wellbeing and make new friends. People we support are encouraged to help shape the service we provide.

We also run a Man Shed, designed to give people we support a safe place to talk with each other over a cup of coffee.

Residential Support –  At Firs Court in Chessington we provide Residential Care for adults with complex needs and Supported Living for adults with learning disabilities.  We have recently been rated ‘Good’ in care, by the Care Quality Commission.

People we support are encouraged and supported to pursue their own interests and to become as independent as they are able.

Pamela's Story

Meet Pamela, a strong and resilient individual who faces the challenges of living with bipolar disorder. Despite the recurrent nature of her illness, Pamela has found solace and support at The Fircroft Trust’s Wellbeing Hub. When crisis strikes, she knows she can rely on the caring team at The Fircroft Trust to provide the assistance she needs. The Fircroft Trust becomes Pamela’s safe haven during these difficult times.

Together, we can create a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

“I can say from my experience that it is an excellent service which is very well led by the staff teams. Staff are very person centred and readily act on the plans, decisions and referrals for peoples’ well-being and safety. Overall, it is a very good service in terms of care, safety, effectiveness and responding to people’s needs.”
